Being an autodidact, I understand the difficulty of learning something new, and in developing a habit of practising whatever one wants to become excellent at. With that in mind, I ensure that my teaching helps students develop an intuition for new material, and facility with it thereafter. I do this by designing instruction that marries practical experience with theory.
I've taught university-level and continuing professional education courses in law for approximately 4 years. I have received an award for the best adjunct of the year at the law school I was teaching at. I have also had experience tutoring at high school level, which I first started doing 15 years ago.
