I am a UCLA graduate, I got my bachelors degree in Design|Media Art in 2019. Throughout my undergraduate studies I was placed on the Dean’s List multiple times. I currently live in New York City, where I am studying in a post-baccalaureate program at Columbia University- where I am taking classes in songwriting, screenwriting, and poetry. My whole life, I have loved learning about where art and the humanities intersect. I think knowledge is one of the greatest gifts we can bestow unto ourselves, but I don’t always think that there is a super linear way of attaining it. All throughout high school and college, I had great experiences with other tutors that helped me approach the source material given to me by my teacher or professor in a way that was much more engaging than maybe the institution I was enrolled in at the time could provide. I very much so look forward to providing the same for whomever!

I have been a freelance tutor, off and on, for the past 3 years. I would say my specialties lie in reading and writing comprehension, as well as the arts. Most recently I was a public school teacher in East Harlem for 4th and 5th graders teaching Elementary Science. Although I have many interests, both creatively and academically, I would confidently say that I could be of greatest help to you as my potential client with: Art Theory, Art History, Literature, Reading, Writing, ACT English, both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, as well as a little Philosophy and even conversational Japanese! My main priority through my tutoring practice is to help people become more successful and well-rounded students not only in the education system, but in their daily lives as well. Elementary (K-6th)

Elementary (K-6th)

I taught at PS155 in East Harlem as a STEM teacher to 4th and 5th graders for one year. I had my own classroom of 25+ students but also ran a homework help hour for children as young as 1st grade to kids up to 6th grade.
Painting

Painting

I have been painting every since I was a child. I have taken lessons all my life, and my father is an accomplished painter himself. I graduated UCLA with a BA where I took Color Theory, Form, and multiple other classes that deal with the fundamentals of painting taught by some of the most successful contemporary artists of the 20th and 21st century. I was taught by Vasa Mihich in my freshman year of college, who was Josef Albers student previously. I have shown art in galleries in both LA and New York.
