Hello Prospective Students!

My name is Zane. I'm a current student of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Columbia University alumni. I graduated from Columbia with a 3.9 GPA, and made the Dean's list all 8 semesters. I scored 98th percentile on the MCAT!

I love helping students with the pre-med process/studying for the MCAT. I've designed a foolproof MCAT & pre-med guide and will share it with the students that I tutor. It helped me score 98th percentile on the MCAT and get interviews at schools like Johns Hopkins, Mount Sinai, Washington Uni, Dartmouth, Boston Uni, and more!

I also had to figure out the college admissions process on my own. After doing it myself and spending 4 years at a top university, I know what the admissions offices are looking for. I can look at your application and give suggestions, edit essays, or do anything to assist with the process.

I can also do subject tutoring! I'm comfortable teaching K-12 math, reading, and sciences. My method has been foolproof so far, with students seeing an immediate increase in their grades. I like to tear apart the subject you're struggling with, starting with the very basics and making sure the foundation is solid. Then we add more difficult layers until we reach the goal you're looking for! A lot of issues in learning come from a weak foundation. For example, recently with a geometry student, I made her a packet with the simplest questions and challenged her to do them on her own so I could see what she struggled with. I then create a lesson plan based on that information.

Hello! If you're looking to ace the MCAT, you've come to the right place. I am a medical school student at a Top university who got interviews at Johns Hopkins, Washington University, Mount Sinai, Dartmouth, and more. I took the MCAT myself and I have tutored others as well. When I took the MCAT the first time, I didn't realize the methods necessary and ended up having to retake it. I got a 510, but that was not the score I desired for the competitive level I desired. The second time around, I worked to develop great strategies and figure out how to take the test, not just learn the content. My score jumped the second time around to 521, and now I help others with the strategies I wish I had known earlier. I know the content and how the MCAT will ask you the questions, and I can help you get your goal score. So far, I've helped three others get their dream MCAT score by creating a guide for the process, going through content review with them, teaching them strategies, and making sure they understood the key parts of the exam. I can help you too! I understand that content review is important but not key to scoring well on the MCAT. It's important to do practice questions and understand where you went wrong when you did them incorrectly. I can also give you methods to review your full-length exam. At this point, I am incredibly comfortable tutoring for the MCAT and have been a private tutor for friends. I am hoping I can branch out and help more people!
