About Tsuimei

Bio

I am a mom of four sons, a graduate of Purdue University, and a Chinese. Mathematics has been my favorite subject since I was an elementary student. The biggest math competition I ever joined is our national high school math contest in Taiwan. I started tutoring algebra, geometry, and trigonometry since high school time. I desire to pass my passion for mathematics to those who are willing to take challenge.

  • Rate details: If the in person request is farther than 15 mile's drive, a minimum section of 2 hours is required for each tutoring. I can tutor up to three person at a time and the rate remains the same.

I was born in Taiwan and moved to the United States at age 28. I had taught second grade elementary school in Taipei, Taiwan for one year. Language arts and mathematics were the subjects I taught at that time. I taught Chinese as a second language for kindergarten through 6th grade for 5 years at a public charter school.

I taught Employment Preparation to students with mild intellectual disabilities. One student demonstrated significant progress in reading, advancing four grade levels according to his updated MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) scores.
