I have been taking Chinese lessons with Hongzhi for 8 months now. She is very experienced and knows what to correct you on and what to focus on to help you improve. She provides the lesson plans and keeps track of where you leave off so you can transition seamlessly from one lesson to the next. I would recommend her for all ages and levels of learning.

Jane makes Mandarin fun
My daughter has been receiving tutoring in Mandarin for a few years now. I always expect her to complain about having a class after school - no sooner does she turn on her computer and start her lesson, then she is in the zone..she is engaged, she has fun and she's learning at the same time! That's all due to Jane and her teaching style and how she meets my daughter right where she is..she gives her the work to do and supports her through the process. Highly recommend this tutor!

A great experienced tutor for AP Chinese test Prep
In January I started looking for a tutor that can help my twin daughters (9th graders) to prepare for the AP Chinese test in May. After connecting with Hongzhi L. We decided to have classes twice a week. With such a short time, both of my daughters got 5 of 5 in the test! They could be there without Hongzhi L! She was experienced with AP Chinese test. She had evaluations and work with my daughters in the area where improvements were needed. She was patient to guide the kids, worked on their confidence and skills. We highly recommend Hongzhi if you are looking for a tutor for Chinese AP test!

Jane is helping my son with his Chinese homework with reading and comprehension. It's only been a few sessions, but the experience has been positive. Jane is patient and caring. From a C to an A and a New Love for Mandarin
We’ve had such a great experience with our son’s Mandarin tutor over the past two years. When he first started, he was struggling and had a C in the class. Since working with her, he has not only improved to an A, but his confidence has completely changed. She has a way of making Mandarin enjoyable and engaging, which made all the difference for him. What started as a challenging subject is now something he actually looks forward to. The biggest thing for me as a mom is seeing how much his mindset has shifted. He now feels confident in his abilities and is even talking about pursuing a career that involves Mandarin, which I never would have expected before.
