I'm Warith Deen Madyun. I have over 15 years of teaching experience. I studied Arabic for four years at the University of Pennsylvania and upon graduation, in 2007, received a certificate in the Arabic Language from the Arabic Studies department. My senior year at Penn I was the only undergraduate in my Arabic class, but it was clear that I was the strongest student, and even corrected the teacher on multiple occasions. I've lived in Cairo, Egypt for almost two years, and I've tutored in North Philadelphia, Atlantic City, and Cairo, Egypt.
My teaching style emphasizes the importance of studying Arabic from three components: reading, writing, and speaking. I give great attention to all of these three aspects, with specific attention to perfecting listening and writing skills. I'm a really fun teacher and take teaching Arabic seriously.
I currently reside in Charlotte, NC.
