Hi Everyone! I'm Dr. Ashley C. and I love all things health and science-related! I have a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Community Health Education and Promotion, a Masters of Public Health, and a Doctor of Health Science with a concentration in Rural Health. Professionally, I am a Community Health Equity Director for a national non-profit organization, own my own consulting company, and teach part-time as adjunct faculty at our local community college. As a professional within the public health field, I have the privilege of educating all age groups on ways to improve their health, neighborhoods, and communities. I truly love to meet people where they are educationally and culturally, and adapt the delivery of my information to ensure that it is well received and understood.

I have been teaching at our local community college for a year now. I teach Personal Health and Wellness, as well as College Transfer Success. The College Transfer Success course is one of my favorites as I get to teach and influence students as they make their decisions to either enter into the workforce, or transfer to a four-year university. My class sizes range anywhere from 10 to 25 students in hybrid format (both in-person lecture and online class work).
