I love working out Math problems and finding new innovative ways to do problems, and I enjoy helping students learn math and Arithmetic at their own pace and guiding them to success in their Math goal and overcoming their Math phobia. I have a great deal of patience, and I will help you work through examples and homework assignments. I specialize in tailoring my lesson plans to specific learning styles of my students, and I explain concepts in multiple ways to insure it is fully understood, because each student learns uniquely. I spent a decade tutoring Math and Arithmetic one-on-one, and I love working one-on-one . I get to focus on the student and their deficiencies and problems in Math.
I once had a student who had failed her SAT multiple times. Her parents, one an author the other a Social Science professor decided to retain my services as a Math tutor one hot Summer. They sacrificed a fun vacation in exchanged for regular lessons on long hot summer days when others were vacationing and having fun. My student took her SAT and passed and was admitted to the colleges of her choice but elected to attend the college her father taught at. She eventually graduated with a major in Computer Science. The Math tips tricks and short cuts I taught her carried her a long way and stayed with her for the duration.
