I am a full-time career adviser, as well as an attorney, a veteran, and a patient listener ready to help you meet your goals! I graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College and earned my law degree from UCLA. Over the years (and on both coasts), I have primarily tutored high school students in writing, English, history, French, and Spanish. College counseling is another particular strength, as I have been a paid application reader as well as a very active volunteer with many years of experience around admission interviews and essays for highly selective liberal arts institutions.

In my day job, I advise law students one-on-one -- and to me, this means listening thoroughly, engaging in dialogue, and coming up with a game plan to help them meet their career goals. I bring this same approach to my tutoring -- even if you may not (or may!) want to conduct a mock interview or ask me to review resumes or cover letters.

I enjoy helping others succeed, and being a good role model for study skills and planning for future success. Here's hoping we can work together!

Career Development

Career Development

I work full-time as a career adviser with law students who seek to use their degrees for the public good. One-on-one career advising, mock interview preparation, and resume and cover letter review are my bread and butter! I have also worked through application processes with applicants outside of the legal profession.
College Counseling

College Counseling

I have been a paid admissions reader, long-time alumni interviewer, and past student admissions employee for highly selective liberal arts institutions. My day job includes a significant amount of mark-up on student resumes, cover letters, and other essays, and I am happy to work with you to make your own writing reflect YOU, not someone else's idea of what you "should" write.
