My background includes 12 years of results-based coaching; personal experience with career and life transitions; STEM master's degree and technical expertise; and business experience as a consultant and employee. Professionally, I have 14 years as a consulting environmental scientist for industry, including operations management, along with complex, academic research at a major university.

Patient and tactical tutor

Valerie was very patient in getting our first call set up to discuss how she could help our daughter. Once we set up our first session our daughter said she felt so much better about doing her book report because Valerie created a working document to follow in getting the book report done. She broke down the work into smaller pieces that were manageable and helped her know what to do.
