Born and raised in Korea, I moved to the U.S. to pursue my passion for art, earning a bachelor's degree in Illustration and a master's degree in Art Education from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. With over a decade of experience, I hold a teaching license in New York State and have taught students from pre-K to high school in both public and private schools.

I started out knowing next to nothing about Korean and now I can have brief conversations with my Korean teachers and friends. It has been less than a year and Chloe is always patient and willing to adjust to what you want to work on

Knowledgeable, fun & patient tutor
When I made this account I had many tutors wanting to have me let them teach me, many actually did not respond even though I showed I was eager to learn the language. Then I found Chloe, she has been teaching me Korean & we are about to be on our 5th lesson! She is very patient especially with writing & pronunciation because it can be difficult. She is in the middle of teaching me Hangul & quickly I learned the basic vowels & consonants and part of that is because she leaves her students homework to help with memorization! I love that she gives me some quiz's too! They are fun & also help with memory, she also lets you know how well & better you have gotten. Every session is a great one & I would highly recommend to learn with Chloe if you are dedicated & wanting to learn about South Korea & their culture! I plan to study abroad in autumn of 2025 hoping to have a learned enough to get a decent level in TOPIK & and believe Chloe can help me achieve that!

To help my sister keep her 9-yr daughter's week full and productive, I decided to hire an art teacher for online lessons. First I didn't know how art lessons could work virtually, but based on the finished products, I could see they had a productive class.
