Hello! My name's Nick and I've been helping students prepare for the SAT/ACT and apply for college since 2015.
During my time as a student at Boston College, I worked with admitted student applications and gained a sense for the type of applications a top-tier university looks for. After graduation, I joined a local tutoring company where I helped students prepare for the SAT/ACT and apply to colleges. Since then, I've returned to Boston College to earn my PhD, but have continued to help students in their college application process. The dozens of students I've worked with have seen an average increase of 150 points in their SAT scores, and have been admitted to their top-choice schools including Harvard, Boston College, Boston University, Brandeis, Bentley, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Brown, Emerson, and others.
I know that the process can be stressful and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach for students. SAT and ACT preparation is based in diagnostic exams to track and gauge progress, as well as practice that focuses not only on the content, but also on techniques. Each student's unique learning style is accounted for, and each unique strength is leveraged to give you a leg up. The college application process is likewise one that is made to fit each student's needs - whether it be building a college list, researching options, brainstorming essay ideas, or editing material.
