Hello, I am Carter, a graduate from the University of Illinois. During my undergraduate studies I worked as a math tutor at Mathnasium, working with children of all ages in both larger sessions and private 1-1 sessions. During this time, I also earned a 3.98 GPA studying economics, joined honor societies such as Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Beta Kappa, and Omicron Delta Epsilon, and co-founded a registered student organization called Book Nook, which I served as the treasurer for.
I currently do private sessions at the high school and early college level, with a focus on calculus and statistics, as those are the subjects I am most passionate about. I believe good teaching is an art form, and that a good teacher will not only help their students to learn necessary topics, but will also bring out their student's natural love for learning, adapting to each individuals learning style, speed, and experience level. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or to schedule a lesson!
