Hello I'm Yogi. I graduated highest honors (above 3.5 GPA) from Georgia Tech. I have a strong aptitude for math and science and hence why I opted to become an engineer and solve world problems. But in order to solve world problems, I have to start at the fundamental level. I saw an opportunity to help my classmates in college and I decided to become Teaching Assistant in courses like Chemistry, Algebra, Physics, Calculus, Statistics, and many more. I would draw diagrams, give analogies, bring fun interactive games, and work diligently to help each student overcome their anxiety in the subject. I would show them tips and tricks and then allow them to solve the problem empowering their confidence within themselves.

I have about 5+years of experience in teaching various Math and Science courses at a high school and college level. I have gotten straight A's through high school and college years in all my math and science courses. I would hold tutoring sessions before and after class to solidify the base in the subject matter. I am very eloquent in explaining the matter to younger and older student population. I was awarded several awards by the Dean for my students having higher grades and GPA in a given semester. I was given the Rookie of the Year Award by the Dean for the SI (Supplemental Instruction) program for having a class of students have an average of above 3.0 GPA. I was able to do that by catering to my student's needs and helping them understand it and following it up with more practice problems. Many of my students looking back at it are now in Medical School, Dental School, Law School, etc. doing better things and making the world a better place to live. I am glad I was there and was able to help them.

I want to take the opportunity to help each and everyone of you overcome your fear and anxiety in the subject matter and improve your proficiency. I am easy to reach and approach and will always provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!

Algebra 1

Teaching Assistant at Georgia State University
Calculus

Calculus

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, which required extensive coursework in advanced mathematics including Calculus I, II, and III, as well as Differential Equations. I have tutored high school and college students in AP Calculus (AB/BC) and college-level calculus, helping them master limits, derivatives, integrals, related rates, optimization, and series. My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations, using visual aids and real-world applications to make calculus more intuitive. I emphasize both problem-solving strategies and conceptual understanding so students feel confident tackling homework, exams, and AP tests.
Chemistry

Chemistry

Teaching Assistant Freshman Chemistry Georgia State University (2011-2013)
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I have a strong background in mathematics, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and extensive tutoring experience across subjects from elementary math through advanced college-level courses. For younger students, I focus on building strong foundational skills in arithmetic, fractions, decimals, geometry, and problem-solving strategies. I also have experience helping students who struggle with focus, confidence, or learning differences by using a patient, step-by-step approach that makes math more engaging and easier to understand. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also gain lasting confidence in their ability to learn and apply math in everyday life.
Physics

Physics

Trig Physics, Calculus based Physics and Engineering Physics.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a strong background in mathematics, including algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, and advanced applied math. I have successfully tutored high school and college students in precalculus, helping them master functions, polynomials, logarithms, trigonometric identities, and complex numbers. My teaching style focuses on simplifying difficult concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations, supported by practice problems that build both skill and confidence. I also emphasize how precalculus concepts connect directly to calculus, so students not only improve their grades but also feel prepared for future coursework.
