Hello! I’m a Senior Psychology major at Georgia State University with a 3.52 GPA, working toward my goal of becoming a Clinical Rehabilitation Counselor. Teaching and tutoring have always come naturally as I love expanding and sharing knowledge with students who want or need extra support. English and Psychology are my favorite subjects to learn and teach! The subjects I have the most experience tutoring in are Writing, Reading, Elementary Math, Social Studies, and Psychology.
I have over a year of tutoring experience through various companies and non-profit organizations, working with students both online and in person. I aim to make every tutoring session effective, engaging, and rewarding. I believe sessions should be more than just paperwork or homework help; students should leave feeling more confident and excited about the subject. To keep sessions interactive, I incorporate fun activities like Kahoot and Blooket and plan for minor breaks during longer sessions to maintain focus.
In addition to tutoring, I worked as a substitute teacher from July 2023 to February 2024, assisting with preschool and after-school programs for children ages 4–12. This classroom experience strengthened my ability to create effective lesson plans and tailor activities to different learning styles.
Every student is unique, and I adjust my teaching methods based on their learning style—whether they are visual, auditory, or hands-on learners. I create lesson plans based on a student's strengths and areas for growth, always including engaging activities to boost motivation and comprehension. I encourage questions, welcome feedback, and always aim to create a supportive learning environment.
If you need a tutor who is flexible, creative, and genuinely committed to helping you succeed, I’m here to help! Please feel free to reach out with any questions—I respond as quickly as possible.
