About Karina

Bio

I passed all four sections of the CPA on my first try. I took two sections my senior year of college, one after I graduated, and one while working a full time job. Out of college I worked at KPMG as an external auditor of financial statements. I now work as an internal auditor in big tech.

While at KPMG, I was responsible for teaching many new hires and staff a variety of audit and accounting topics. I LOVE teaching! I like to get creative with my teaching style and do whatever works best...

While at KPMG, I was responsible for teaching many new hires and staff a variety of audit and accounting topics. I LOVE teaching! I like to get creative with my teaching style and do whatever works best for you. I personally am a visual learner, so love to show things on a whiteboard or draw out examples. I will keep it fun and interesting because I know textbook accounting isn't always that way. But in real life it definitely is!

While at KPMG, I worked 60+ hour weeks, working in Excel for 99% of that time. I am an Excel nerd! I have extensive experience with financial and managerial accounting from my time working at a public firm.

I have been using Microsoft Word for many years, both personally and professionally, so can offer many tips on how best to use it for your needs.

I am a young professional with a wealth of experience to pull from. While in public accounting, I worked on 30+ clients and saw all different kinds of accounting related issues and their resolution. I know how to be a professional in many different aspects and can share that knowledge so it best suits you and your needs.
