I am a University of Florida graduate in Education Sciences currently pursuing graduate study in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Georgia Tech. I tutor students from elementary school through university level in SAT/ACT Math, Algebra, Physics, C++, and programming fundamentals, with a focus on clear explanations, problem-solving, and long-term understanding.

My background combines training in educational psychology and instructional design with practical experience in software development, algorithms, and classroom teaching. I also support early programming learners working with Scratch, Python, and introductory robotics, including Raspberry Pi-based projects.

My tutoring focuses on helping students truly understand material rather than memorize procedures. In math and physics, I emphasize structured reasoning and problem-solving strategies. In programming, I focus on logic development, debugging, and breaking complex problems into manageable steps so students can work more independently over time.

I have experience teaching in both one-on-one tutoring and classroom settings, including a summer computer science program where I designed and taught Scratch-based lessons covering loops, conditionals, and debugging. I also regularly work with students preparing for exams, completing coursework, or building foundational academic skills, adapting my approach to each student’s level and goals.

My goal is to help students become more confident, capable, and self-sufficient learners. If you are looking for patient instruction and clear, structured support in math, physics, or programming, I would be happy to help!

Knowledgeable, encouraging, patient

Brian helped my son program his Raspberry Pi with Linux and bring an associated robot online. Brian also identified that my son needed support in typing and beginner coding programs. He kindly supplied some self-guided tutorials. We'll be engaging Brian's services when my son needs additional programming help as soon as he explores Scratch, Python, and Lego coding.
