The SAT Math test challenges the problem solving ability of the student and the student's ability to apply mathematical principles to the solution of the stated problem. Over many years of helping students I have the skill to teach the student how to master each type of question they will encounter. By repeated practice and shared problem solving demonstration the student can quickly hones his skill. The goal is for each student to produce a score which accurately reflects his math aptitude. SAT preparation in this one-on-one mode is the most cost effective and time effective method to prepare for the test.

One-on-One is the best way to prep for the ACT. I ask the student to work on math problems prior to the tutoring session. Once i arrive we go over all problems the student did not get correct. During this process I teach any math concepts that have been "forgotten" and teach the student how to analyze each type of question and teach the student how to get to the correct answer. I help ensure that on test day the student will achieve his best score.

Knows his stuff!

We just had a great first lesson. My son really enjoyed it, and feels much more confident about the process. Fred actually isolated what the issue was for the ACT math part of the test. He figured out that the longer questions are frustrating for my son. He is going to work with him on that. We are looking forward to more lessons.

One Word: Awesome!!!!

He is extremely calm, collective, and wise. He could back up his explanation, and he was friendly in general. He did not get angry with me if I did not know the answer. He has an awesome technique with teaching. I want my mom to hire him again. He setup an appointment the same day my mom called him to review for my Geometry final exam.

Great first lesson

My first impression was over the phone , he was very knowledge on how to help my daughter , he asked me to get the the old exams from the teacher which was a great idea. My daughter has been a A and B student until she got a C on her exam, we called Fred and he helped her going over the last exam to see what she was not understanding. He was one time and was very polite. I would recommend him very much!

Fernanda, 1 lesson with Fred
