Hi, I'm Jeramy! From the moment I drew my first molecular structure to explain the properties of a substance, I knew I wanted to learn even more Chemistry! The connection between math, science, and critical thinking made it a great fit. As I began my college chemistry course load and helped many friends in their science classes, I learned that y true passion was helping others find joy in learning. Naturally, I went on to pursue a degree in Chemistry Education. I enjoyed the rigor and the ways Chemistry helped me develop a sense of wonder about the world around me. I hold a current teaching license with the state of Utah. I taught 15-17 years olds in a suburban high school for 8 years. I am now a chemistry curriculum editor and continue to use my skills daily.
With 8 years of experience as a high school Chemistry teacher, I know how to make difficult concepts easier to understand and even fun! I focus my tutoring sessions on analogies, models, examples, and stories to make Chemistry accessible. I will not give up until you understand. I have several ready-made resources centered on various interests and step-by-step processes to break down difficult science concepts. I welcome any notes and resources already provided by instructors and can develop a plan that guarantees your success!
