I am currently a medical student at Georgetown University School of Medicine and am pursuing an MD/MBA. Before medical school, I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame. Throughout my medical education, I have developed a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine while completing all core clinical clerkships. I also earned a 260+ on the USMLE Step 2 CK examination, demonstrating a strong understanding of the clinical knowledge and reasoning required for success on the USMLE and in medical school.

My passion for teaching began well before medical school. In high school, I worked as an SAT tutor, helping students strengthen their quantitative reasoning, critical reading, and test-taking strategies through individualized instruction. During college, I served as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, working one-on-one and in small groups with students from diverse backgrounds to improve their English communication skills. These experiences taught me how to adapt my teaching style to each student's learning needs and communicate complex ideas in a clear, approachable way. Throughout medical school, I have continued mentoring classmates by explaining challenging concepts, reviewing practice questions, and discussing effective study strategies for coursework and board examinations.

I primarily work with medical students preparing for the USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, shelf examinations, and preclinical coursework. Every student has different strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles, so I tailor each session to individual goals, whether that means mastering foundational concepts, improving clinical reasoning, refining test-taking strategy, or creating a structured study plan. My goal is not only to help students achieve higher scores but also to build the confidence and problem-solving skills they will use throughout medical school and residency.

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have experience tutoring Algebra 1 and SAT Math, working with students to strengthen both foundational skills and problem-solving strategies. I focus on making concepts such as equations, inequalities, functions, graphing, exponents, and factoring intuitive rather than relying on memorized steps. My SAT tutoring experience has also helped me develop efficient ways to identify gaps in understanding and teach students how to approach unfamiliar problems systematically. I tailor each session to the student’s current level and goals, whether they are trying to improve a class grade, prepare for an exam, or build confidence in math.
Biology

Biology

I have a strong background in biology through my undergraduate education at Notre Dame and medical training at Georgetown University School of Medicine. My experience spans cellular and molecular biology, genetics, physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, and other foundational biological sciences, with an emphasis on understanding how concepts connect rather than simply memorizing facts. I have experience helping students work through challenging material and develop effective approaches to biology questions and exams. I tailor my teaching to each student’s level and focus on making complex topics clear, intuitive, and easier to retain.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I have experience tutoring math from elementary through SAT Math and calculus, working with students to strengthen both foundational skills and problem-solving strategies.
Physiology

Physiology

As a medical student at Georgetown University School of Medicine, I have extensive experience applying physiology to both foundational science and clinical medicine. My medical training has given me a strong understanding of cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and neurophysiology, as well as their integration across organ systems. I have also successfully applied these concepts throughout my clinical rotations and USMLE preparation. I enjoy helping students move beyond memorization by breaking complex physiological mechanisms into intuitive, step-by-step explanations.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I scored a 1540 on the SAT and have previous experience tutoring students specifically in SAT Math and Algebra. I focus on helping students strengthen core mathematical concepts while also teaching efficient strategies for the question types and patterns that appear frequently on the SAT. My approach emphasizes identifying individual weaknesses, working through problems step by step, and developing the speed and confidence needed for test day. I also help students recognize common traps and use their practice-test results to guide targeted preparation.
USMLE

USMLE

I am a Georgetown University School of Medicine MD/MBA student who earned a 260+ on the USMLE Step 2 CK examination. I specialize in helping medical students prepare for the USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, shelf examinations, and preclinical coursework by emphasizing clinical reasoning, high-yield concepts, and effective test-taking strategies. My teaching is tailored to each student's learning style and goals, whether they are striving to pass an exam or achieve a competitive score for residency applications. My goal is to help students build lasting understanding, improve confidence, and maximize their performance on exam day.
