I hold a Ph.D. in Respiratory Physiology & Neuroscience from the University of Florida, as well as a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Texas A&M University and a *Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Mumbai University. My academic journey has been multidisciplinary and research-intensive, giving me a strong foundation in life sciences, physiology, neuroscience, and scientific writing.
My teaching and mentoring experience spans over a decade, including roles as a teaching assistant for veterinary neuroscience, physiology, histology, and embryology courses during my doctoral studies, and as a research mentor to undergraduate and graduate students at both the University of Florida and Emory University. I've worked with students ranging from first-year college students to graduate-level trainees, in both classroom and one-on-one settings. Many of these interactions took place in large classrooms, laboratory environments, academic workshops, and informal coaching sessions around scientific communication and research design.
I take a patient, student-centered approach to tutoring—aiming to demystify complex topics, build confidence, and create a learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged. Whether I’m helping someone understand physiology concepts or polish a research presentation, I focus on clear explanations, structured learning goals, and tailoring my methods to fit each learner’s style and pace.
