A Few Tutor Qualifications

I have painted since I was a small child, and still am fascinated with the endless possibilities of applying color to a surface. As an art teacher I have worked in virtually every medium. I am equally at home with watercolor, oils or acrylic paints. Most recently I work on oil paintings outside,"en plein aire," and I work on watercolors inside. I enjoy painting a variety of subjects including abstract and non-objective pieces. I believe that having a complete understanding of the mechanics of color mixing frees the artist to express his or her experiences using a variety of techniques. My work has been shown and sold in a variety of venues including galleries, museums and art centers, and public buildings.
