Welcome! I am a senior pre-med student at the University of Miami, majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Biology and Spanish. I have excelled at organic chemistry and have taught Organic Chemistry II Workshop at U Miami for the last 3 semesters. But I am also experienced in teaching general chemistry and am currently teaching a general chemistry lab. I have achieved a 130 score on my chemistry/physics section of MCAT (96th percentile). And have been doing biochemistry research at an NIH-funded lab for the last 2 years and have 2 publications. Chemistry is my life’s passion. I have deep mastery of the subject matter and love teaching it to others – in a patient and kind manner.
I enjoy helping students work though difficult chemistry questions and build confidence in their problem-solving skills. My teaching style is supportive and tailored to each student’s needs—I focus on breaking down tough concepts into clear, manageable steps so they can approach every question with understanding and confidence. I think patience is my superpower. I don’t get frustrated and I believe that every question is worthy of a thoughtful response. I am an effective tutor and my students love me. Given my high MCAT score on the chemistry/physics section, I’ve demonstrated that I know what it takes not only to master the material but also apply it strategically under test conditions.
