I currently teach 5th grade English. With my students, I find a good balance of reading comprehension and writing. I try to incorporate photos, audio, reading, and writing as learning methods, as I know that every student learns differently! My goal as an educator is to ensure my students are understanding the concepts we go over in class, and hopefully have some fun along the way.
Through my varied experiences, I know that a really important part of teaching is tailoring the material to match the needs of the student. I always try to make lessons engaging for students, and am not afraid to change my approach while teaching if I see that something is not clicking! I am passionate about storytelling in all formats and want to foster this love in my students as well.
