We’re looking for an in-person reading and writing tutor on the Upper East Side for an 8th and 10th grader. The focus would be close reading, reading comprehension, discussion of literature, and analytical writing. We’d like to start this summer with their assigned reading — for example, Fahrenheit 451 for our son — and potentially continue during the school year if it’s a good fit.
