I am seeking a tutor to help my friend improve his English. His native language is Russian and he can communicate in English with me at a sufficient conversation-level, but he lacks confidence and fluency in communication with other English-speakers. We live in Connecticut (currently), but are happy to meet wherever is convenient for you. My goal is for him to learn English from someone who can explain not only proper grammar, but also some of the nuances and connotations of vocabulary choices. If you are able to provide homework as a part of teaching, that would be excellent. I have prepared some materials myself as an example, and I am happy to provide additional compensation for this request. I am hopeful that my friend can learn writing proficiency/literature as well, but the primary goal is speaking confidence.
