From August 22 through September 7, we’d like an intensive academic preparation program before school begins. Our preferred schedule is:

We would like to focus on American History and academic writing.
Our goal is to use American history as a foundation for developing strong reading, analytical thinking, discussion, and writing skills. We’d like Chelsea to improve her reading comprehension, vocabulary, critical thinking, and essay writing while exploring major events, historical figures, and key themes in U.S. history.
We are looking for academic enrichment rather than homework help, with an emphasis on preparing her for the reading, writing, and discussion expectations of a rigorous U.S. independent school.

We are looking for academic enrichment rather than homework help. If it's a good fit, we'd be interested in continuing lessons during the school year.
