While he resisted the idea, he quickly took to her after just a few minutes allowing me to feel comfortable leaving him to learn from her right away. I love the fact that she is not a full-time teacher and, therefore, is not burnt out and seems to take on all of her students with as much energy as if they were her full-time students. I highly recommend Deloris. She has an upbeat and encouraging manner and gets a lot done in one session. She is very well organized and makes great use of the hour session. I like how each session involved work on skills like practicing short vowels or blends, contextual reading, and also sentence writing.
