About Robert:

I like to help people set goals for themselves and assist them in meeting those goals! I have broad experience doing this as a leader in the healthcare industry where I enjoyed helping employees and colleagues to grow and learn. I have spent much time with the youth of my church involved in both classroom and outdoor activities. I appreciate being able to create a fun learning environment where learning can occur.

I like to provide an opportunity for an individual to discover what goals they have for learning and for personal growth. Then I can provide guidance and support as they travel toward reaching those goals.

I am known as a patient instructor who can match my pace to the needs of the individual. My college training is in the sciences. I have two daughters in high school and assist them regularly with a variety of subjects.

More On Robert's Subjects:

  • elementary (k-6th)

I enjoy helping kids your age learn new things! I want you to be the best you can be. I have fun working with a church scouting club every week that includes 5th and 6th graders. We learn some important things together about the world around us and we like finding fun ways to do it. I have two daughters in highschool. They were home schooled for many years and I liked to be able to help them with their subjects. My daughters say that I am easy to get along with and they still ask me for help with their highschool subjects! I help them to do their assignments in the best way possible, but I don't waste time being mean or critical. I like to help by asking questions, making suggestions or hints, or reteaching the subject with different examples. I want you to be able to know the material, not just get the assignment done. One of my favorite things is seeing a light bulb turn on in your eyes when you learn something new.
