In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

My favorite part is the General Ledger and account analysis and completing all the journal entries all the way down to producing the financial statements. I have been told over the years at my jobs that I am a good teacher.

Microsoft Excel
I have used Excel for 15 years. I completed training at CTP for all levels of Excel which is about 4 full days. After seeing what all Excel can do, I see why it is the most used spreadsheet. I am an Accountant with 25 years experience and 25 years experience with Spreadsheets. I know how to do general spreadsheets. I have seen advanced things and will be working on them but never used them.
Microsoft Word
I have used Word for many years almost 15. I pretty much know everything about Word except Mail merge. I have used it for letters, forms, envelopes, etc. I am an Accountant and used it quit often. I am pretty much self taught on Word.
QuickBooks
I have almost 5 years experience with QuickBooks, and I am self taught. I have 25 years experience and QuickBooks is one of the best accounting packages out there. It does everything and is easy to use and great for non accountants to use as well. I have not used it in about three years, so I have not been able to keep up with the advancements.
