I am a retired teacher, a Hernando/Pasco County substitute and private tutor. I have a Bachelor's Degree, with emphasis in Reading, Comprehension, Language Arts, Math at K-9 level. My 7-year tutoring experience qualifies me to assist your child with basic studies, study skills, homework, test preparation, and specific class associated studies. Satisfied client references are available upon request. Private tutoring in your home or mine will raise your child's self-confidence and increase his/her focus and grades in a comfortable, non-confrontational setting. We will evaluate and discuss goals together, setting reasonable expectations of your child. |

I have been a substitute teacher K-6 in the Pasco and Hernando school systems for 7 years. I have covered English, Language Arts, Reading, Comprehension, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, ESE, and media services.
In my capacity as a substitue, I have been totally responsible for developing class plans and/or executing teacher plans.
I have done some private tutoring and find this to be a positive and productive experience. One-on-one gets right to the specific issues and needs of each individual. I am comfortable with tutoring K-9.
