Hello,

My name is George and I have been teaching English professionally for over 7 years.

I am currently a Teacher Trainer at ELS Language Centers here in Seattle. Over the last 7 years, I have gained valuable work experience in a number of areas related to teaching English. I have taught EFL classes to all ages and levels and have worked abroad (Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Finland) and in the US. I have held the following positions:

- CELTA Trainer

I have also worked as both a private tutor and for various English schools. I also have experience preparing individuals and groups for Cambridge ESOL tests FCE, CAE, CPE and IELTS. I also have some experience preparing individuals for TOEFL and TOEIC.

I have extensive experience working with Russian speakers, but I have also worked with a range of other language speakers such as Spanish, Japanese and Arabic.

I spent seven years living and working in Ukraine. During that time, I studied Russian and married my wife who is a native-speaker of Russian. I feel that I am qualified to teacher beginner to elementary Russian to non-native speakers, especially those whose L1 is English as I have first-hand experience of learning Russian from the perspective of an English speaker. I believe I would be a perfect fit to teach beginner or survival Russian.
