Biology - especially related to human health - is my passion and my area of expertise. I am a full-time college professor here in Portland, and I teach general biology, human anatomy and physiology, genetics, cell biology, mammalian physiology, microbiology, and biochemistry at various undergraduate levels. I am highly qualified for tutoring in any of these areas.
In addition, I can help with college decisions...majors, minors, courses, how to navigate "the system." Especially if you are interested in starting at a community college, then transferring to a 4-year school, contact me for some tips - I offer a few tips free of charge, and reduced fees for more in-depth advising compared to tutoring.
I am a friendly but highly trained teacher and researcher, and I am committed to those I teach and tutor. I prefer meeting at Starbucks, a library or a similar location.
Take advantage of my expertise to help you succeed in any area of biology. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
***Please note...I must limit my work to students who are preparing for a specific exam or a certain project, rather than helping for an entire semester. My regular work schedule is such that I cannot commit to helping anyone long-term.
