I earned my M.A. in Classics from UT Austin and ultimately obtained my PhD in Biblical Languages, giving me a comprehensive mastery of the linguistic and historical landscape of the ancient world.
I believe that language is a window into a culture’s soul. My teaching approach stems from a focus on history and material culture; when a student understands the world from which Latin and Greek emerged, the grammar becomes more intuitive and the texts become more vivid.
