I scored a perfect 36 on my math ACT and have been working at an ACT training facility so I am still sharp. I worked in accounting and finance for years and can help in many areas. I know college statistics and have used them often. My prize student just got an ACT score of 32 composite with a 33 in science and 34 in math. Another tutoree of mine received a 29 composite after receiving a 19 the first time. A third tutoree just scored a 33 composite, including a 35, a 34, a 29, and a 34. It is very hard to go up 4 points at that level, but she did it. We are now prepping for the SAT.

I understand the strategy, how to use the time allowed, and the material that is covered. Most of the students that I work with begin to request to have me in later sessions for math and science. I have a series of mathematical patterns that I use to help me see relationships that allow me to check my work as I go, and I do not make any "dumb mistakes".

My college degrees in accounting and finance, include multiple courses in statistics, make me very helpful for high school seniors and college students as well. I am a jack of many trades and my best skill is an ability to share my strengths. I have taught college accounting for over 5 years on and off and numerous other business courses.

Awesome tutor!!! — Kurt is fabulous. In just 3 sessions he has brought up my daughter's confidence so much. We don't know yet how she did on the ACT this past Saturday but no matter how she did I know that his time with her will help her in the future with her study skills. I would recommend Kurt to anyone! ...
