Hi there,
My name is Aaron, and I want to be the Aristotle to your Alexander the Great. I believe, as Aristotle did, that the most important thing for success in life is personalized education that provides the student with true comprehension, and not just the bare minimum needed to get by. I love providing this sort of education for others in a variety of humanity subjects. While my academic focus is in ethical philosophy, I am also well versed in English, history, and the performing arts. Philosophy demands a higher level of writing proficiency than nearly any other discipline, so my background in philosophy has made me very competent in teaching writing, editing, proofreading, and reading comprehension. I can also help with SAT and GRE test prep in the above subjects. I received an honors degree in philosophy from UVa, as well as a B.A. in Drama, and a Masters degree in Philosophy from Colorado State University, and scored well on both the SATs and the GRE.
I have had a great deal of success teaching my college students some of the most difficult ideas in philosophy. I want to take that experience and help you better understand whatever material is giving you trouble. I am happy to provide a flexible approach and I promise to devote myself to helping you reach your educational goals. Please give me a chance and you won't regret it!
