I have a Ph.D. in Psychology with a background in learning, research design, assessment, and statistics, and I’ve been working with students for more than eight years. My tutoring experience spans kindergarten through graduate school, including university-level teaching in psychology, research methods, and statistics as well as extensive work with elementary and middle school students. I enjoy helping students build both skills and confidence, whether that means helping a young learner develop reading and math skills, supporting an English language learner, or helping a college student tackle a challenging psychology course or research project.

My approach is personalized, encouraging, and practical. I adapt my teaching to the student rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. With younger students, I focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, and math while keeping sessions engaging and age-appropriate. With older students, I can help with psychology, academic writing, research methods, statistics, test preparation, presentations, and graduate-level research. I also provide support with study skills, organization, time management, and college essays. My goal is to make difficult material easier to understand while helping students become more confident and independent learners.
