Locations for "Off-Campus" Bar/Bat Mitzvah Services

Question

As a bar/bat-mitzvah (b'nai mitzvah in plural) instructor, I've seen many religious services that did not take place in a synagogue, whether due to scheduling, accessibility, or other considerations. What are some interesting places where you've seen them? (Please note that I'm referring not to the party, but to the religious service or ceremony, such as a Shabbat morning with Torah reading or a Havdalah.)

Many bar mitzvah religious ceremonies are not always held in a synagogue. They can take place in a hall or a large room where chairs, tables, and a Sefer Torah are brought in. Sometimes families rent out a restaurant and hold the ceremony there, including the Torah reading.

I have officiated B'nai Mitzvah in student's homes, in their yards and in an empty and cleaned out horse stable! I have also attended B'nai Mitzvah on the beach, and my own Bat Mitzvah was held in the chapel at my Jewish Day School as I was a member of a chavurah and we did not have our own building.
