Is learning to read Hebrew very difficult?

Learning to read Hebrew usually takes less than 5 hours, and is surprisingly easy! Here's why:

1. It's completely phonetic (each letter always makes the same sound). There's no letters that can make different sounds like in English
2. The sound of each letter is always the same as the beginning sound of the letter's name (e.g. the letter "Bet" makes the sound of the English letter "B". If you know the name of the letter, then you know what sound it makes.
3. Israeli research about the order of teaching consonants and vowels makes learning Hebrew even easier than ever!
