Physical geography describes topography or physical/natural features of the earth, like rivers, mountains, gulfs, valleys, climates, etc. Human geography is the impact and footprint that humans have left on the earth, like migration patterns, cultural patterns, and rural/urban use of land. They both study the earth - human geography assumes you already know all the physical geography and it's looking in a closer way at the human impact or human footprint on the earth.
