Is there any rhyme or reason to learning hebrew verb conjugations?
Hey, very beginner hebrew learner here. I've really just memorized a couple hundred vocab words at this point. Mostly nouns, but also some verbs. I've caught on that to be plural they end in ים/ות and feminine usually ends in ה but before I just in to learning verb conjugations, are there any rules/tips I should know?

On the most basic level, that is a very good starting point. There are several different forms/patterns of verbs. The one you are describing is the most basic. Once you master this form, there are forms that end in ת for female singular and so on.

Hello! I don't know if you've been able to find an answer since posting this question, but here's my input. Learning verb conjugations helps to recognize what tense or aspect a verb is using. You will be able to tell if the verb is complete (often past tense), incomplete (often future), or contemporaneous (often present). In order to learn these conjugations, the best way I know is simply to make charts of the paradigms for the Qal perfect, imperfect, and participle. Make sure you can study those charts and quiz yourself on them so that you can recite the paradigms without looking. From there, you will have the tools to remember the rest of the Qal paradigms. When you learn the other stems and what distinguishes them from the Qal, you will recognize much of what you saw from learning the Qal. Does this help?09/05/19
