Different forms of 'need' in hebrew

Question

Could anyone provide some context/examples for the different uses of צריך and הזדקק (and maybe הזקיק?)? Or are they completely synomous? Thanks!

They are not completely synonymous, although they do 'overlap'.

הזדקק is used when you are missing something that you need (such as help on the side of the road, water in the desert etc.) whereas צריך is a more general form which is need, have to, must etc.
