In modern Hebrew you combine the suffix with Shel, being shellee for mine, shello for his, etc.
Different ways to express possession
I know that you can either use suffixes or של to express possession, e.g. ספרי or ספר שלי. Are there any connotation differences between the two? Is there a typical usage preference?
