At first, very strange and a little silly, since ι η υ ει οι υι all sound like /i/; and because I was taught the Erasmian pronunciation it was unfamiliar. But I've since learned more Modern Greek and visited Greece, and now I rather like it. I often even use the modern pronunciation for Ancient Greek, despite the possibility of confusion between e.g. ἡμῖν and ὑμῖν, because it sounds more like a real and authentic language.
