Modern Hebrew for English Speakers
The best simple answer I've ever heard for this question is that the difference is very similar to the differences between Modern English as we speak it today and the English of the King James Bible. So there are some words that aren't used anymore, and some words that mean something different now, and some aspects of grammar that are a little different. But like Arik said, it's still the same language.
I speak Modern Hebrew, but I never studied Biblical Hebrew, and I am able to understand around 95% of my Bible in Hebrew. So once in a while I do need to look up a word.
