I took the CBEST exam to become a teacher and passed on my 1st test
You have 4 hours total to complete the entire exam - all 3 sections - reading, writing and math. So, for example, that is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes for each section. The math section is really basic math and, while no calculators are allowed, there are tutors available, as well as study guides, to help you prepare and pass the exam.
