How to populate cells in a table with the same text?

Question

There are cells that require the same information. How do I populate the cells with the same information without having to copy and paste in each cell?

1. Select all of the cells in which you would like to insert the information
2. Type the information
3. Hold down the <Ctrl> key, then press <Enter>

If you mean in Excel, if you're copying down a column, highlight the cells and hold down Control-D. If you're copying across a row, use Control-R.
