Preparation of alkenes
A mixture containing equal moles of C2H4and C3H8contains 3.6 grams of hydrogen
If the molar amounts are equal, then they are in a ratio of 1/1.
1C2H4 + 1C3H8 has 5 moles of C and 12 moles of H
3.6 g H x (1 mole H/1.01 g H) x (5 mole C/12 mole H) x (12.01 g C/ mole C) = 17.8 g C
