For each solution, first calculate the # of moles by multiplying the volume and the molarity (M = mol/L).
mol1 = 3 mol/L x 2L = 6 mol
mol2 = 1.50 mol/L x 4L = 6 mol
Total # of moles after mixing = 6 + 6 = 12 mol
Total volume of solution after mixing = 2 + 4 = 6L
Final molarity (concentration) = 12 mol / 6 L = 2 mol/L = 2M
