A boy has twice as many blue marbles as green ones. his friend gives him 60 green marbles and now he has the same number of green and blue marbles. find the number of green and blue marbles he had initially? Also verify your answer or check it is right Please write all the steps???

G = # green marbles

 

B = 2G

 

G + 60 = B = 2G

 

Subtract G from each side

 

60 = G and B = 120
