Baby Ned has a box of 10 blocks, 3 rectangles, 3 triangles, and 4 squares. He reaches in, pulls out a block and places it on the table. He does it a second time. What is the probability that Ned selects a triangle followed by a rectangle?

Probability of triangle followed by rectangle = 3/10 · 3/9

 

= 9/90 = 1/10
